Bone Mass is best suited to a dedicated Necromancer Zombie deck that can consistently create, recur, or cheaply discard Zombies, because it provides a free 3-power attack with go again while converting an otherwise expendable Zombie into +1 power on your next attack; in a normal deck without reliable Zombie access, it is merely an average 3-power go-again attack and its ability will often do nothing. Generic alternatives such as Ravenous Rabble or other class-appropriate 0-cost attacks with go again are generally better for consistent damage, while Zombie-focused cards that generate value when discarded may be better than Bone Mass if available in your build. It should see play as a synergy card in a dedicated Zombie/Necromancer list, but not as an automatic inclusion or competitive staple unless the deck can trigger its discard ability nearly every turn.
