Outbreak

حول Outbreak

Outbreak, Assassin attack reaction, صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 2026 في التحرير Mastery Pack Assassin.

Outbreak is best suited to a dedicated Nuu Assassin midrange/control deck that runs a high density of Assassin attack actions, blue pitch cards, and disruption to make its attacks connect, since hitting for +3 while creating Frailty, Inertia, and Bloodrot Pox can severely weaken the opponent’s next turn; it is less attractive in aggressive or low-resource Assassin builds because paying 3 resources for a reaction is expensive and the card does nothing if the attack is blocked. More efficient options such as Infect, Virulent Touch, or Surgical Extraction generally offer better rate, lower resource commitment, or more reliable disruption, so Outbreak should usually be a one-of or sideboard-style choice rather than an automatic inclusion; it is worth playing only in Nuu lists specifically built to maximize on-hit effects and generate enough resources to still threaten a weapon or follow-up attack.
