**Drag Down (2)** would mainly benefit slower, defensive “fatigue” or control-style decks that aim to survive into the late game by reducing incoming damage and depleting the opponent’s resources—such as Guardian, Oldhim-style builds (in Living Legend formats), or other heroes that value defense reactions to disrupt breakpoints. However, because it costs 2 resources and only reduces the attacking card’s power by 2 (rather than outright preventing a larger amount of damage efficiently), it is generally less efficient than stronger staples like **Sink Below**, **Fate Foreseen**, **Turn the Tide**, or class-specific defense reactions that block for 4 or provide additional upside (like filtering or go again). In most competitive environments, Drag Down is considered below rate and is unlikely to see serious play unless a very specific meta or synergy makes the power reduction uniquely valuable.
