Hex Gauntlet is primarily a Limited-only safety valve for Levia-style Brute decks that banish many cards and can struggle to keep Blood Debt under control: it lets you turn one Blood Debt card face-down before your end phase, preventing that card from dealing damage, but it costs you an equipment slot and eventually adds its own Blood Debt when banished. In Constructed Levia, it is generally outclassed by **Goliath Gauntlet**, which converts an arms slot into meaningful extra damage on a 6-power attack, while other equipment choices such as **Scabskin Leathers**, **Carrion Husk**, and **Hooves of the Shadowbeast** provide stronger overall value in their respective slots; Hex Gauntlet should therefore mostly see play in Usurp the Shadow Throne Limited decks when you need help surviving Blood Debt, rather than in optimized Blitz or Classic Constructed lists.
