Swordmaster’s Path is best suited to a Warrior deck—especially Dorinthea, Kassai, Hatchet, or other sword-focused builds—that can reliably make multiple weapon attacks and use effects that “sharpen” a sword, since it gives a meaningful +2 POWER to the next sword swing while doubling the next sharpening event. It is strongest in turns where the extra sharpness can be converted into several attacks or where hitting a key break point matters, but it is relatively narrow because it does little without a sword attack and requires separate sharpen support for its full value. Compared with broadly efficient Warrior attack-action cards such as **Spoils of War**, **Ironsong Pride**, or strong zero-cost attack reactions like **Ironsong Response**, Swordmaster’s Path is generally more situational; however, in a dedicated sharpen/sword synergy list it can be preferable as a setup card.
