Big Slick is best in aggressive decks that can make their follow-up attack very hard to block—especially Brute, Guardian, or other “tall” attack decks with intimidate, dominate, large attack values, or powerful on-hit effects—because winning the wager turns its +4 into card advantage, while failing to hit gives the opponent a card and can be disastrous; it is much less appealing in fair midrange or wide-combo decks that cannot reliably force damage through. In most generic lists, **Rally the Rearguard** is the safer and generally better alternative when available, since it gives the same +4 and go again without risking an opponent draw, while class-specific buffs such as **Bloodrush Bellow** can be stronger in their respective decks; Big Slick should only see play when your deck consistently makes the boosted attack connect and can exploit the high-risk, high-reward wager effect.
