Comet Collision (3) fits best in Wizard decks that can reliably trigger **Starfall** by playing instant-speed cards—most notably **Kano, Dracai of Aether**, who thrives on casting instants on the opponent’s turn and stacking arcane damage in small packets. However, at 3 resources for only 1 (or 2 with Starfall) arcane damage, this is far below rate compared to staple Wizard cards like **Aether Flare**, **Sonic Boom**, **Lesson in Lava**, **Forked Lightning**, or even efficient blues that generate more value in Kano lines. Even with Starfall active, 2 arcane for 3 resources is inefficient unless heavily synergized, and it lacks the scaling or disruption that competitive Wizard decks prefer. As a result, it generally does not see play in optimized Kano or other Wizard builds and would mostly be considered a very low‑power or budget option rather than a competitive inclusion.
