Small Blinder is best in aggressive Warrior decks built around repeatedly attacking with swords—especially Dorinthea or Kassai lists that can make a sword attack difficult to block and reliably win the wager—because +4 power is an excellent breakpoint boost and the Blade Dance token rewards connecting. It is much weaker in defensive, fatigue, or non-sword weapon decks, since missing means the opponent receives the token instead. Compared with efficient sword reactions such as **Ironsong Response** (which can replace itself after a sword hit) or **Glint the Quicksilver** (which can provide go again and enable additional weapon pressure), Small Blinder is more of a high-impact, conditional finisher than a staple value card; it should see play as a small number of copies in proactive sword decks that expect to force hits, but generally not as an automatic three-of.
