Voltaris is best suited for aggressive Lightning-based Runeblade decks (like Briar in Classic Constructed or similar future Lightning heroes) that actively benefit from creating and leveraging **Lightning Flow** tokens, especially builds that can consistently pitch it early to gain incremental value rather than relying on it as a resource later. Because it’s Legendary and only provides 3 resources with no inherent pitch bonus beyond the token generation, it competes with other powerful blue pitch cards that offer stronger on-demand effects or better resource flexibility; in many cases, cards that generate immediate tempo or synergize more directly with your core combo lines (such as premium blue Lightning or Runeblade pitch cards that enable go-wide turns) will be more consistent.
