Bone Mass (2) is best in aggressive Necromancer decks that consistently create or include Zombie cards and can follow it with another attack, since it turns an otherwise modest 0-cost 2-power go-again attack into effectively 3 total damage while clearing a Zombie from hand; it is especially useful as a blue pitch card that still contributes to a wide turn. The red and yellow Bone Mass versions, if available, are generally stronger attackers because they present more immediate damage for the same cost and text, while this blue version is mainly included for pitch consistency rather than raw rate. It should see play in Zombie-focused builds that need blue cards and can reliably capitalize on the discard trigger, but it is less appealing in lists with too few Zombies or too few follow-up attacks, where it is merely a 2-power attack and can be replaced by more efficient pressure cards.
