However, because it costs 2 resources and only reduces the attacking card’s power by 2 (rather than outright preventing a larger amount of damage efficiently), it is generally less efficient than stronger staples like **Sink Below**, **Fate Foreseen**, **Turn the Tide**, or class-specific defense reactions that block for 4 or provide additional upside (like filtering or go again). In most competitive environments, Drag Down is considered below rate and is unlikely to see serious play unless a very specific meta or synergy makes the power reduction uniquely valuable.
