**Drag Down (3)** is a generic defense reaction that costs 3 resources and effectively defends for 3 but drops to 2 defense if it’s defending an attack (since it gets ‑1 POWER), making it below-rate compared to most standard defense reactions; because of this inefficiency, it would only fit in very budget, low-power, or limited-format decks that simply need extra blue block cards and don’t have access to stronger options. In constructed play, it’s generally outclassed by cards like **Sink Below**, **Fate Foreseen**, **Unmovable**, or even most 3‑block blue generics that don’t carry a drawback, all of which provide better value or useful effects.
