**Soul Bond Belief** fits best in a Light-based deck that consistently runs a high density of yellow-pitched cards—most notably **Boltyn, Breaker of Dawn**—since stacking your deck with yellows meaningfully increases the chance of triggering the soul gain and +1 power bonus. Boltyn decks already want many yellow cards to fuel Light synergy and charge effects, so this attack can contribute to soul setup while presenting modest pressure. However, it is generally considered low power and inconsistent compared to stronger 1-cost Light attacks like **Engulfing Light** (which can gain go again and threaten more damage) or other more reliable soul-charging tools such as **Lumina Ascension** (in combo builds) or efficient generics that provide better rate and on-hit value. Because it relies on a random reveal and only gains +1 power on success, it tends to be outclassed in competitive builds and sees little to no play outside of very budget or highly casual yellow-heavy Boltyn lists.
