Runic Disposition (2) is primarily suited to Runechant-focused Viserai Runeblade decks, where its discard ability can create a Runechant during an opponent’s turn and its Usurp ability can convert an existing Runechant into extra attack power; however, spending two resources and a card for an attack that consumes your Runechant is generally inefficient, especially when stronger attacks or setup cards can create Runechants without sacrificing them. In most constructed Viserai lists, cards such as Rune Flash, Mauvrion Skies, Read the Runes, and higher-impact Runeblade attacks provide better damage, resource efficiency, or Runechant generation, so Runic Disposition should usually not see competitive play unless your deck specifically wants extra instant-speed Runechant generation, has ways to replenish Runechants easily, or you are building casually or in Limited.
