Battle Hardened: Richmond took place this weekend, from April 14th to 16th. Almost a hundred players competed in the Classic Constructed format for a total prize pool of $2,000. More importantly, however, were the Professional Tournament Invites (PTIs) given to winners, as they secure a spot in the Pro Tour Baltimore, which is coming up later in April.

A somewhat varied metagame dominated the event, with a few very well-known names such as Dromai, Lexi, Oldhim and Azalea taking up the lead as most played heroes. In the end, however, the great Grandfather took over the race, and the final match was a mirror match with both players piloting Oldhim.
