Beast Mode (3)

About Beast Mode (3)

Beast Mode (3), Brute action - attack, designed by None first released in February 2024 in the set Heavy Hitters. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.22.

Beast Mode (blue) is best suited to Brute decks that can reliably intimidate before attacking, especially Rhinar builds that want blue pitch cards but can turn its 3 base power into a respectable 5-power follow-up; it is also reasonable in Limited as a blue that blocks 3 and can threaten above-rate damage. In constructed, though, it is generally a fringe or budget inclusion rather than a staple: blue Wrecker Romp is usually better as a more reliable 4-power blue attacker, while cards such as Barraging Beatdown and Pulping provide stronger intimidation/discard synergies and more impactful turns. Beast Mode can see play if a Rhinar list needs extra blue three-blocks and has consistent intimidate setup, but it is usually cut first for more efficient or higher-ceiling Brute attacks.
