Comet Collision (2), Wizard action, designed by None first released in May, 2026 in the set Omens of the Third Age.
Comet Collision (2) fits best in a Wizard deck that consistently plays at instant speed and can reliably trigger **Starfall**, most notably Kano, Dracai of Aether, who regularly plays instants on both turns and can set up graveyard conditions to turn this into a 3 arcane damage breakpoint. It’s most attractive in aggressive or tempo-focused Kano builds that want cheap, flexible arcane damage to pressure life totals or pick off small allies, especially in blue pitch (if applicable) to fuel resource-heavy turns. However, compared to staple Wizard cards like Aether Flare, Aether Icevein, Scalding Rain, or even more explosive combo pieces like Blazing Aether, Comet Collision is generally lower impact and less efficient unless Starfall is consistently online. Because 2 arcane for 2 resources is below rate and 3 for 2 is only moderately efficient, it’s typically outclassed by stronger damage or disruption options, so it’s fringe playable at best and would only see play in niche builds needin
