About Corpse Cover (2)
Corpse Cover (2), Necromancer block, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.52.
Corpse Cover (2) mainly benefits **Necromancer decks that already run allies and expect to defend with equipment/cards that stay relevant while blocking**, because its prevention mode turns an ally in hand or on board into damage prevention while the card is defending; that makes it most attractive in slower, grindy Necromancer shells that can generate expendable allies and want to preserve life against breakpoints. That said, it looks **narrow rather than broadly playable**: paying/including a 2-cost defensive card that requires ally fuel is a real deckbuilding cost, and many decks would rather play more proactive ally generation, efficient defense reactions, or generically stronger defensive tools unless the Necromancer card pool specifically rewards allies dying/discarding. If your deck can consistently make disposable allies and wants extra prevention against tall attacks, Corpse Cover can be a meta call, but if the ally count is low or you need tempo, it is likely worse than more
