Crushing Headache

About Crushing Headache

Crushing Headache, Guardian action - attack, first released in September 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 2.01.

Crushing Headache best fits a Guardian fatigue or disruption deck—especially Bravo, Classic—when the metagame contains heroes that rely heavily on non-attack actions in hand or arsenal, such as Wizard, Runeblade, Mechanologist, or combo-oriented builds; however, it is much weaker against attack-action-heavy decks because its Crush effect may do nothing, and paying 6 resources for only a 6-power attack is a substantial opportunity cost. In most Guardian lists, Crippling Crush is generally the better default choice because its successful Crush effect discards two cards regardless of their type, while Spinal Crush is often better when you want a cheaper attack that imposes a broader combat penalty. Crushing Headache should therefore see play mainly as a targeted sideboard or local-meta choice against non-attack-action-heavy opponents, not as an automatic inclusion in every Guardian deck.
