Dr. Mortimer would mainly benefit a dedicated Assassin control or midrange deck built around applying diseases, generating Silver tokens, and making repeated low-cost attacks; the first ability provides useful disruption and incremental value, while the second can create explosive turns if you can reliably maintain two Silver, but the card is highly dependent on opponents actually controlling diseases and on having enough Silver production. In a normal Assassin list, established heroes such as Uzuri, Switchblade or Nuu, Alluring Desire are likely stronger because their abilities provide more consistent offensive or disruptive value without requiring those specific conditions, and generic Assassin attack reactions and go-again enablers will usually be more reliable than spending two Silver for Mortimer’s effect.
