Experimental Armor would fit best in an aggressive red-based deck—especially Boros (red‑white) or mono‑red aggro—that wants to push early damage and give ground creatures evasion and immediate impact, since flying and haste can help close games quickly or push damage past stalled boards; it could also slot into a casual Voltron-style Commander deck that stacks equipment on a single threat. That said, at 3 mana to cast plus 2 to equip (5 total before value), it’s fairly inefficient compared to stronger options like **Embercleave** (which can be discounted, gives +1/+1, trample, and double strike at instant speed), **Swiftfoot Boots** or **Lightning Greaves** (which grant haste plus protection for less total mana), or **Maul of the Skyclaves** (which auto-equips and gives +2/+2, flying, and first strike).
