Heads Up, Warrior action - legs, designed by None first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Armory Deck: Olympia, Prized Fighter.
Heads Up is best in a sword-based Warrior deck that can reliably wager—most notably Olympia builds using The Golden Son—because it turns a routine +3 weapon buff into a dominate threat, making it much harder for opponents to efficiently block the sword attack while also supporting Olympia’s wager payoff; it can also be playable in Dorinthea as a simple Dawnblade pump, but without wager it is effectively just another Driving Blade effect. In wager decks, Heads Up is generally better than Driving Blade because it has the same +3 and go again baseline while adding dominate when the attack is wagered; however, Dorinthea may often prefer flexible attack reactions such as Ironsong Response, which can be held until after blocks and surprise the opponent, while Steelblade Supremacy can be stronger when its on-hit card draw matters more than the extra point of power. Overall, Heads Up should see play as a red-pitch payoff card in Olympia or other dedicated wager-sword lists, but is not an autom
