Hot Top, Warrior equipment - head, designed by None first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Mastery Pack Warrior.

Hot Top is best suited to a weapon-focused Warrior deck—especially Dorinthea or Kassai builds that play a high density of impactful attack reactions such as Ironsong Response, Razor Reflex, Rout, or Steelblade Shunt—because it can turn a block against an opposing weapon into guaranteed access to a reaction on the following turn; however, the effect is slow, conditional on defending a weapon attack, and consumes a Blade Break equipment slot for only 1 defense, so it is usually a niche metagame choice rather than a staple. In most competitive decks, **Crown of Providence** is the better head-slot card because its 2-block and hand-filtering ability are useful in nearly every matchup, while **Arcanite Skullcap** can also be preferable for reliable defensive value where legal; Hot Top should see play only if weapon-heavy opponents are common and recurring a particular attack reaction is worth more to your deck than generally stronger head equipment.
