About Overbear (1)
Overbear (1), Generic action, designed by None first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Mastery Pack Warrior.
Overbear is best in weapon-centric decks that can make a weapon swing genuinely threatening—especially Warrior builds such as Dorinthea or Kassai, and occasionally Guardian builds using large weapons—because dominate is most valuable when the weapon attack has strong on-hit value or can be boosted with attack reactions; it is much less attractive for low-power weapons that an opponent is happy to block with one card. In most competitive lists, **Pummel** is usually the stronger generic option: it gives the attack dominate while also adding significant power and can be played after the opponent commits blocks, although it costs more resources and lacks Overbear’s go again.
