Elliptical Conflux is a niche Illusionist aura that would theoretically fit into a Lightning-focused Illusionist build looking to generate Embodiment of Lightning tokens for go‑again pressure, but in practice there is no competitive hero that cleanly supports this plan—Prism (the primary Illusionist) does not meaningfully benefit from Lightning synergies, and Lightning heroes like Briar cannot run Illusionist cards—so it lacks a natural home; even in casual Prism builds, more impactful auras such as **Merciful Retribution**, **Genesis**, or efficient Heralds provide far stronger board presence and damage output, making Elliptical Conflux generally underpowered and rarely worth a deck slot, so it should not see competitive play outside of experimental or very casual builds.
