Corrupt and Conquer is best in Shadow Runeblade decks—especially Chane, and potentially Vynnset builds—that can reliably play attack actions from the banished zone, turning it into a powerful six-power disruption threat that both shuts off defense reactions and strips an opponent’s arsenal on hit; it is particularly valuable into decks that depend on arsenal setup, such as Guardians, Rangers, Wizards, and many fatigue/control strategies. Its closest—and generally better—alternative is **Command and Conquer**, since C&C always prevents defense reactions and destroys arsenal cards without requiring the card to be played from banish, although Corrupt and Conquer’s banish effect can be stronger against recursion and its Blood Debt synergy makes it more natural in Shadow decks. It should see play as a matchup-dependent disruption option or sideboard card in Chane-style lists, but it is usually not an automatic full three-of because Blood Debt is costly and it is less reliable than Command a
