Rift Breaker is a niche tech card best suited for aggressive decks that can efficiently present 6-power Lightning attacks and want specific counterplay against Lightning-based heroes that generate **Lightning Flow** tokens (such as Briar or other Lightning Runeblade builds), making it primarily a sideboard option rather than a main-deck staple. Its value depends entirely on the opponent relying on Lightning Flow, so outside that matchup it’s just a vanilla 2-cost attack, which is generally below rate compared to stronger generics and class cards; in most competitive decks, cards like **Command and Conquer** (for universal disruption), **Erase Face** (excellent into Briar and other combo-centric heroes), or efficient pressure tools like **Snatch** will provide more consistent value. Because of its narrow effect and lack of inherent disruption beyond token removal, Rift Breaker should only see situational sideboard play in metas heavy with Lightning Flow strategies, and otherwise is usua
