Aggressive Pounce (1), Brute action, designed by None first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Compendium of Rathe. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.41.
Aggressive Pounce fits best in a **Brute deck that consistently triggers Intimidate**, such as Rhinar (especially midrange or budget Rhinar builds), because it only gains go again if you’ve intimidated that turn, making it unreliable outside dedicated Intimidate setups. In competitive Rhinar lists, however, it’s generally outclassed by stronger 2-cost or payoff cards like **Pulping** (which can generate additional attacks), **Beast Within** (higher ceiling and strong synergy), **Barraging Beatdown** (forces awkward blocks and synergizes with wide turns), or premium generics like **Command and Conquer**, all of which provide more consistent pressure or disruption. Because Aggressive Pounce is conditional and doesn’t provide additional on-hit effects or disruption, it’s usually considered below-rate unless you’re building a budget deck or need extra red 6-power attacks for Intimidate synergy—so while it’s playable in casual or budget Rhinar, it rarely sees competitive play.
