Reaper’s Call fits best in Assassin decks that actively leverage **Mark** synergies—particularly heroes like Uzuri or Arakni builds that pressure with on-hit effects and benefit from enabling contract-style or Mark-matters payoffs at instant speed. Because it costs 0 and can be discarded as an instant to Mark the opponent, it plays well in reactive, disruption-focused lists that want to threaten effects during the opponent’s turn without sacrificing tempo. That said, its value depends heavily on how strong your Mark payoffs are; if your list isn’t built around exploiting Mark immediately, it can be underwhelming.
