Roaring Beam (2) is best suited for **Boltyn, Breaker of Dawn** or other Light Warrior builds that actively care about charging their soul, since it both creates a **Courage token** (boosting your next weapon attack) and can return to hand to repeatedly fuel soul if you start empty, helping enable Boltyn’s Light-synergy payoffs. However, most competitive Boltyn decks prefer more impactful charge cards like **V of the Vanguard**, **Engulfing Light**, or combo pieces such as **Lumina Ascension**, which either generate stronger pressure, enable OTK lines, or provide better rate for their cost. Because Roaring Beam costs 2 resources and doesn’t inherently threaten much damage on its own, it tends to be value-neutral and slow compared to more explosive or efficient options, making it generally fringe-playable at best rather than a staple in competitive Warrior builds.
