Scuttle Toes fits best in aggressive or combo-oriented Necromancer builds that actively leverage allies for on-demand value—particularly decks that can exploit death triggers, “leave the arena” effects, or temporary power spikes before sacrificing an ally at instant speed (for example, pushing extra damage, triggering graveyard synergies, or denying an opponent’s banish effect). The ability to destroy your own ally can enable combo lines or protect it from worse outcomes, but paying 2 resources makes it somewhat inefficient unless the deck is specifically built to capitalize on that destruction. The Arcane Barrier 1 is a modest defensive bonus, which is relevant into Wizard-heavy metas but not a primary reason to include it.
