Shadowrealm Walker (1)

About Shadowrealm Walker (1)

Shadowrealm Walker (1), action - attack, first released in September 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.25.

Shadowrealm Walker is chiefly for Shadow Runeblade decks, especially Viserai and potentially Vynnset, because it turns a spare Shadow card in hand into a Gate to i'Arathael and therefore delayed Runechant value; it is most appealing in slower, grind-oriented Viserai builds that can afford to give up a card now and expect the game to last long enough for the Gate to matter. It is generally not an automatic inclusion: the banish requirement makes it inconsistent, Blood Debt is a real liability, and more immediate cards such as Rift Bind often provide a stronger attacking turn once several cards are already banished, while Runeblood Incantation or other reliable Runechant generation may be preferable when the deck needs consistency rather than a conditional token. Play Shadowrealm Walker only if your list has a high Shadow density, actively benefits from banishing, and wants the Gate payoff; otherwise, its conditional setup and delayed value usually make it a cut.
