About Undead Grasp
Undead Grasp, Necromancer equipment - arms, designed by None first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Armory Deck: Malice, Domina of the Dead.
Undead Grasp fits an aggressive, zombie-dense Necromancer deck that treats its Zombies as disposable pressure pieces rather than long-term board assets: it is best when a Zombie attack is likely to hit, has valuable attack/on-hit effects, or can convert the +3 POWER into a lethal breakpoint. Discarding a Zombie is a meaningful cost, so it wants a deck with plentiful Zombie generation and ideally cards that benefit from Zombies being discarded or leaving play; it is much weaker in a slower list that needs Zombies to remain in play for multiple turns. There is no universally “strictly better” replacement without knowing the Necromancer card pool and deck plan, but reusable arms equipment or equipment with stronger defensive value can be preferable in midrange or fatigue builds, since Grasp is effectively a one-time offensive burst after it has defended.
