Donkey would fit a proactive Warrior deck that makes repeated Sword attacks and can afford to lose or deliberately clear Arsenal cards, but it is most appealing in a wager-focused build where its conditional effect is reliably favorable; otherwise, the +1 POWER alone is not enough to justify the Arsenal risk. For conventional Dorinthea, Dawnblade, Kassai, or hatchet-oriented lists, `Ironsong Response` is generally better because its +3 POWER is far more threatening and helps force blocks, while `Rout` can provide a cleaner +3 POWER attack reaction when its restriction is met; `Glistening Steelblade` is also stronger where multiple weapon attacks make its buff relevant. Donkey should only see niche play if “wagers” has substantial dedicated support or if destroying your own Arsenal is an intentional payoff, since a zero-cost +1 with a potentially harmful drawback is below the normal rate for competitive Warrior reactions.
