About Runic Disposition
Runic Disposition, Runeblade action - attack, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Runic Disposition fits best in a Runechant-dense Runeblade deck—particularly one that can reliably make Runechants every turn and wants to convert a Runechant’s usual 1 arcane damage into an extra 2 physical power—making it effectively a 4-power-for-2 attack when Usurp is live, while its discard-to-create-a-Runechant mode gives it useful flexibility when it is awkward to play; it is therefore more appealing to proactive Runechant lists than to generic Runeblade builds that cannot consistently supply the token. Whether it is better than other options depends heavily on its pitch value and defense, but efficient Runechant payoffs or attacks that generate Runechants while presenting similar damage will usually be preferable when you need to preserve your existing Runechants for arcane damage; cards such as Rune Flash or Read the Runes are better at establishing Runechant count, while stronger zero- or one-cost attacks are generally better for maintaining wide combat chains.
