Echoflash fits best in aggressive Runeblade decks—especially Viserai or Kano builds—that aim to stack multiple small sources of arcane damage and trigger “from graveyard” effects, since it provides guaranteed chip damage both on cast and when it hits the graveyard, helping push incremental arcane pressure and synergizing with cards that care about non-attack actions or arcane pings. However, in most competitive lists there are stronger options: cards like *Forked Lightning*, *Aether Flare*, *Revel in Runeblood*, or more efficient arcane generators typically provide higher damage output, better scaling, or stronger synergy for the same or better resource investment, and Kano in particular prefers more explosive instant-speed arcane spells. As a result, Echoflash is generally too low-impact for top-tier play and would mainly see use in budget builds, very grindy arcane-ping strategies, or niche synergy decks rather than optimized competitive lists.
