Off Beat (3) is a niche blue pitch card for sword-based decks that can consistently create Blade Dance and/or Flurry tokens—most notably a Cindra-style Draconic Ninja build using those tokens as expendable resources—because converting otherwise-unused tokens into temporary sword power can turn a weapon swing into meaningful breakpoint pressure; it is not worthwhile in ordinary Ninja, Warrior, or sword decks that do not make those tokens reliably. The red or yellow Off Beat are generally better when you want to maximize the turn’s damage, while the blue version is preferable only when the deck needs three-pitch cards and still produces tokens often enough; more reliable weapon-buff cards such as Hit and Run are usually stronger in decks that can use them because they do not require token setup. Play Off Beat (3) as a small blue-pitch inclusion, not a centerpiece, and only if destroying a token for a sharpened sword happens consistently without costing you more value than the extra weapo
