A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy and controlling the board would benefit from including Destructive Aethertide. While it provides a small amount of arcane damage, the real value comes from its Surge ability to potentially destroy a card in the opponent's arsenal. However, there may be better options for disruption or damage in other cards, such as Nullrune Robe which can disrupt multiple turns.
