Flowstate Embodiment is best suited for aggressive Lightning Briar decks that naturally play a high density of instants (notably non‑attack action instants like *Lightning Press*, *Snapdragon Scalers* turns, or defensive instants) and want to snowball tempo through Embodiment of Lightning tokens to push go‑wide damage with on‑hit pressure; however, it’s generally considered too low impact for competitive play because it requires you to already be playing instants during the chain to generate value, doesn’t provide immediate damage or card advantage, and competes with stronger zero‑cost attacks like *Snatch*, *Enlightened Strike*, or Briar staples such as *Swarming Gloomveil* and *Force of Nature* setups that generate more consistent pressure and payoff, so while it can function in casual or budget Lightning builds, it has largely been outclassed and does not typically see play in optimized lists.
