Check-Raise is a niche payoff for a deck built to make multiple wager attacks consistently, since it turns an already-planned wager into a much more threatening breakpoint while preserving go again; it is therefore best in a dedicated wager-focused aggressive deck rather than as a generic power card. If your deck cannot reliably wager on the same turn, more universally live buffs such as **Razor Reflex** are generally better because they can be used on any attack and can be held as an attack reaction, though Check-Raise can be more efficient in a true wager deck if its resource cost and sequencing fit your turn. It should see play only when your list has enough wager enablers and attacks to make it live nearly every game; otherwise, the conditional text makes it too inconsistent for most decks.
