About Danse Macabre
Danse Macabre, Necromancer equipment - legs, designed by None first released in August 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne.
Danse Macabre would mainly benefit a Necromancer “go-wide” deck that repeatedly creates cheap allies, gains value from allies dying, or has powerful enter-the-arena and death triggers; giving an ally go again can enable an extra attack, but paying 2 resources, tapping the equipment, and guaranteeing that the ally dies at the end phase makes the effect expensive and highly conditional. For most aggressive decks, Snapdragon Scalers is better because it provides go again without requiring an ally or an additional resource, while Ironrot Legs or Nullrune Legs are better choices when reliable defense or arcane barrier matters. Danse Macabre should generally not see play in a normal Necromancer list, but it could be worthwhile in a dedicated token-or-sacrifice build where destroying the ally is an advantage rather than a drawback.
