Malignant Migration (2) is best in an aggressive Necromancer Zombie deck that reliably creates or plays Zombie cards and wants specific banished cards returned to the graveyard for recursion, reanimation, or graveyard-count payoffs; as a 0-cost attack with go again, it also helps maintain action-point efficiency, but its discard requirement makes it poor when Zombies are scarce or valuable to keep in hand. The red Malignant Migration (1) is generally better for an attack-focused list because it presents more damage for the same 0-resource cost, while the blue (3) version is preferable only when the deck needs additional pitch; the yellow (2) is a reasonable filler but not usually the premium version. It should see play only if moving cards from banish back to graveyard is an important, repeatable part of the deck’s game plan—otherwise, stronger unconditional 0-cost attacks or Zombie-generating cards will usually be more valuable.
