Run Through is best suited for aggressive Warrior sword decks—especially Dorinthea Ironsong builds—that want to chain multiple sword attacks in a turn and capitalize on go again to maintain tempo, as it both grants go again to the current sword swing and buffs the next one by +3, enabling strong breakpoints and reprise triggers; however, it competes with stronger or more efficient options like **Ironsong Response** (which can give +3 at instant speed with reprise upside), **Spoils of War** (which provides go again plus a powerful on-hit resource effect), and **Hit and Run** (a zero-cost go again enabler with conditional extra value), all of which often offer better rate or flexibility, so while Run Through can function as a budget or supplemental option in aggressive Dorinthea lists, it generally sees limited competitive play because more efficient reaction and go-again enablers exist.
