About Forked Bolt
Forked Bolt, Sorcery, designed by Tomasz Jedruszek first released in May, 2020 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 2.63.
This card is great for aggressive red decks looking to deal damage efficiently and control the board early in the game. While Forked Bolt is a solid choice for decks focused on quick damage, some might opt for more versatile options like Lightning Bolt, which can target any creature or player for 3 damage at the same cost. Whether Forked Bolt sees play depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, but it's definitely a strong contender for decks aiming for a fast start.
Rules
06/15/10
You divide the damage as you cast Forked Bolt, not as it resolves. Each target must be assigned at least 1 damage. (In other words, as you cast Forked Bolt, you choose whether to have it deal 2 damage to a single target, or deal 1 damage to each of two targets.)
