Electryn Joltstep (3), Runeblade action, designed by None first released in May, 2026 in the set Omens of the Third Age. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 2.56.
Electryn Joltstep (red) fits best in aggressive Lightning Runeblade decks—most notably Briar, Warden of Thorns in Classic Constructed or Rosetta-era builds—because it efficiently buffs your next Runeblade or Lightning attack while creating a Lightning Flow token to enable synergies, and it has go again to maintain tempo, making it ideal in low-curve, go-wide turns that chain multiple attacks and non-attacks together. However, it competes with stronger one-cost or zero-cost non-attack actions like Lightning Surge (which can give +3 and go again), Weave Lightning (which sets up powerful on-hit turns and arsenal synergy), or even Snatch and other high-pressure blues/reds depending on the build; these often provide more raw damage or better breakpoints for similar investment. As a result, Electryn Joltstep is playable in budget or synergy-focused Lightning builds that value token creation, but in optimized competitive lists it is usually outclassed by higher damage or more impactful setup
