About Glory Plate

Glory Plate, equipment - chest, designed by None first released in February 2026 in the set Compendium of Rathe. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.42.

**Glory Plate** fits best in a Guardian-style deck that can reliably create and cycle **Toughness tokens**, since its DEFENSE scales each time a Toughness leaves the arena in a turn—making it strongest in builds that generate multiple Toughness tokens and expect them to be destroyed during combat. It has synergy in heroes that naturally produce Toughness (such as certain Guardian builds that lean into token generation and attrition), especially in slower, defensive strategies where you plan to block heavily and leverage large defensive turns. However, compared to staple chest pieces like **Tectonic Plating** (which provides consistent value and action point generation) or **Fyendal’s Spring Tunic** (which offers universal resource efficiency over time), Glory Plate is generally more niche and less reliable, since its value depends on having Toughness tokens leave the arena in the same turn you defend. As a result, it’s playable in dedicated Toughness-focused builds, but outside of that
