Head Shot (blue, 3-pitch) is best in Ranger decks that can reliably load and flip arrows from arsenal, especially Azalea builds that value a cheap 5-power arrow when it is put face-up into arsenal; it is also a reasonable blue pitch card because it remains a threatening attack rather than a dead resource card. It is less desirable in highly disruptive Ranger lists, since arrows such as Infecting Shot, Sedation Shot, Withering Shot, and Murkmire Grapnel can offer stronger on-hit effects, while red Head Shot provides more raw damage when damage is the priority. Still, blue Head Shot should see play as a one-to-three-copy utility arrow in arsenal-focused Ranger decks, particularly budget lists or decks needing blue pitch, but it usually is not a premier three-of staple over more disruptive arrows.
