Quicksilver Dance is a narrow but potentially high-value sideboard card for decks that can make meaningful use of the Blade Dance token, most notably weapon-focused Warrior builds or other decks that can convert an extra weapon/token into damage; it is best against opposing weapons that accumulate +1POWER counters, such as Dawnblade or Hatchet of Body, since it both lowers the current weapon attack and replaces itself with a card while leaving behind additional value. There is not a strictly better direct substitute for that specific counter-removal effect, but against decks without counter-based weapons, broadly useful defensive cards such as Sink Below or Fate Foreseen are better deck slots because Quicksilver Dance may have no legal target. It should see play as a metagame-dependent sideboard option when counter-stacking weapon decks are common, rather than as a default main-deck inclusion.
