A mono-red aggressive deck focusing on high-power creatures, such as red dragons or goblins, would benefit most from Self-Destruct in Magic: The Gathering. However, a better alternative would be cards like Fling, which don't cause damage to your own creature. Self-Destruct could see situational play in decks looking for direct damage or combo potential but may be too risky for consistent use.
