Slice Up is a niche Warrior payoff for decks that can reliably put and keep +1POWER counters on their weapons, most notably Dawnblade-based Dorinthea builds that can make multiple weapon attacks in a turn and convert an otherwise-unused counter into hand disruption; it is best when the weapon attack is already likely to hit, since the discard effect does nothing if the attack is blocked. In most Warrior decks it is weaker than more broadly useful weapon reactions such as **Steelblade Supremacy**—which adds attack and replaces itself with a card draw on hit—or **Spoils of War**, which adds attack while generating value without requiring a counter; **Pummel** is also a much stronger discard threat when your deck can make eligible 6+ power attacks, though it cannot be used on a weapon attack. Slice Up should generally not be a staple: play it only in a counter-focused weapon deck with dependable counters and enough attack pressure to force hits, preferably as a small number of copies rath
